England Futsal Group seeks new Board Directors for England Futsal Community C.I.C.
The England Futsal Group, this week has begun a 3-month new recruitment campaign to appoint Independent and Community Directors to the Board of its Community C.I.C., helping strengthen our approach to governance, diversify our skills and expertise base, drive the organisation’s continued financial growth, and build a sustainable long-term vision for futsal across England.
As part of this process, and for the first time in partnership with The Football Association (The FA), the England Futsal Group are administering the process for potential candidates to apply for The FA Council Seat representing futsal (from season 2026/7 onwards), offering a further route for individuals looking to contribute to the sport’s national development and apply their expertise to futsal within the corridors of influence at the FA. The selection process, delivered jointly with FA Executive, will identify 2-3 individuals who will progress as nominations to the National Game Board of the FA in March, for decision and ratification.
‘This is another exciting milestone for the England Futsal Group and on our journey with The FA to grow the game alongside our commitment to the Nolan Principles and good governance. The INED opportunities are significant appointments which offer cracking opportunities for individuals to bring their professional expertise, wisdom and time to the new futsal movement in England. Given the recent announcements about National Teams, these vacancies are pivotal in securing the necessary skills and experiences to drive forward our mission to be a progressive, sustainable and community-centric National governing Body for futsal in England.’
England Futsal Community C.I.C. (Interim) Chair, Stephen Mitchell
