WELCOME TO THE 2025/26 NATIONAL YOUTH CUP
Building on community feedback from across the last couple of seasons, we’re making some changes to the England Futsal 2025/26 National Youth Cup.
For this season, our National competition will form one of the three pathways within our newly-introduced Youth Development Partnersprogramme.
What’s the National Youth Cup Format?
The initial round of the competition will be played as Regional Qualifying Events, hosted by 9 of our fantastic Youth Development Partners and played between January 31st - March 31st 2026.
This ensures that competing clubs will be able to access the competition at a more local level, reducing travelling distances, increasing player participation and improving the balance of competition.
Qualifiers of each Regional Event will advance into the knockout round, to be played in a home and away format as per last season’s competition. These knockout rounds will be played between April 1st - May 17th 2026.
For those teams who qualify for the knockout rounds, who wish to register additional players after the regional qualifying stage, these players MUST have completed their Youth Player Registration by 23:59, Tuesday 31st March.
Winners of the knockout rounds will then move through to May’s England Futsal 2026 National Youth Cup Finals’ Weekend - hosted at Repton School over the weekend of the 30th and 31st May 2026 - click here to watch the action from the 2025 National Youth Cup Finals’ Weekend.
KNOCKOUT ROUND
Following an all-action 2 months of Regional Qualifiers taking place across the country, from Dorset on the south coast right the way up to Sunderland in the North East, 48 teams emerged as regional qualifiers for the first knockout round of the 2026 National Youth Cup.
8 sides from the U14 Girls section, 8 sides from the U16 girls section, 16 sides from the U14 Mixed section and 16 sides from the U16 Mixed section.
For the first knockout round draw, teams were placed into a regionalised draw - Quarter-Finals for the two Girls categories and a Round of 16 for the Mixed competition.

NEXT STEPS
The next knockout round of the 2026 National Youth Cup (semi-finals for Girls comp & quarter-finals for the Mixed comp) will be drawn week commencing Monday 27th April.
For the Mixed competitions, quarter-finals and semi-finals will be drawn at the same time, meaning each side will know their projected path to Finals Day in advance.
