England Futsal Announces Applications Open for Women’s National Team Assistant Coach Role
England Futsal is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the position of Assistant Coach for the England Futsal Women’s National Team. This is a significant opportunity for an ambitious and dedicated coach to contribute to the growth, performance, and long-term success of elite women’s futsal in England and support the team into the upcoming UEFA 2027 European Qualification campaign.
The successful candidate will work alongside Head Coach Siôn Kitson, who will lead the Lionesses throughout this international cycle. Siôn steps into the role following the departure of Pete Vallance, having served as assistant coach during the previous cycle. We thank Pete sincerely for his valuable contributions to the Lionesses over the past 18 months.
The Assistant Coach role will involve:
Supporting the planning and delivery of high-performance training sessions
Contributing to match analysis, tactical preparation, and opposition scouting
Assisting with player development, talent identification, and selection
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary performance team
Representing England Futsal at international competition
Importantly, the Assistant Coach will be developed and supported throughout this cycle to progress their responsibilities and leadership for the next competition cycle, offering a clear pathway for professional growth within the national team setup.
