Lincoln Futsal Academy

About: Lincoln Futsal Academy was created to provide a high-quality futsal environment where young players can develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game. Our focus is on nurturing talent through structured coaching, teamwork, and enjoyment both on and off the court.
We currently run sessions for ages 4 to 14, supporting players across all ability levels. The academy now proudly has around 80 registered players who train and compete regularly, developing their technical ability and passion for futsal in a positive and inclusive environment.
Our Proudest Moment: Our proudest moment came when several of our players were offered academy places at professional clubs, including Lincoln City, Leicester City, and Nottingham Forest. Seeing our young members take the next step in their football journeys is a testament to the dedication of our players, coaches, and families who make Lincoln Futsal Academy such a special community.
Northants Futsal Club
Founded: 2023
Location: Kettering
About: Northants Futsal Club has quickly grown from a single weekly session to over 130 players participating across our Shooting Stars, Foundation and Development programmes. We provide opportunities for boys and girls aged 3 to 16 to learn, play and grow through futsal in a fun, inclusive and challenging environment.
Our Proudest Moment: Our proudest achievement is the community we’ve built — a club where players develop confidence, creativity and teamwork through the game we love. As an England Futsal Youth Development Partner, we’re proud to be helping shape the next generation of futsal players across Northamptonshire.
Fleckney Athletic AFC
Founded: 1986
Location: Leicester
About: Fleckney Athletic AFC runs teams from U7s to U18s, with over 150 players currently competing each Sunday. Our current U11 group are the first Fleckney team to try futsal, having had our first experience in November 2024. It has been an incredible vehicle to push the more able in our community club and players have thrived on the physical, psychological and technical demands of the sport. It has also enabled us to be better promoted within our grassroots structure as players have better decision making in tight spaces and have better control of the ball.
Our Proudest Moment: Featuring in the England Futsal U10’s National Festival at Derby University in 2025.
Leicestershire Futsal League
Founded: 2014
Location: Leicestershire
About: The Leicestershire Futsal League was established in 2014 with support from the Local FA and quickly grew into the largest futsal league in England with 181 teams at it’s peak consisting of Boys/Mixed representation from U8 - U16, Mens U18 and Open Aged Leagues, and girls leagues from U10 - U16.
We have previous experience of running the regional futsal qualifiers with teams from Leicestershire advancing to the finals. We are excited for the official partnership with England Futsal and hope to grow the game from grassroots up across the region
Our Proudest Moment: Grassroots League of the year in 2020 was clear recognition of these efforts. Our committee includes 2 experienced Futsal referees who have had experience on BT Sports with Tier 1 and have been involved in refereeing and mentoring on all levels of the game.
