Applications open for Men’s U19 National Team Head Coach ahead of 2027 UEFA Futsal EURO qualifiers

England Futsal have today opened applications for the Head Coach role of the Men’s U19 National Team, as preparations begin for the 2027 UEFA U19 Futsal EURO qualifiers.

Below you can find links to the Application Information Pack and Job Description & Person Specification.

This is the first competitive action for our U19s team since March 2025’s trip to Hungary to face Spain, Finland and Hungary in the Main Round qualifiers for the 2025 edition.

Defeats to Spain and Hungary were followed by a 3-3 draw against Finland, thanks to goals from Comrie Smith (2) and Tyler Cook (pictured above).

Since then, our U19 performance programme has continued its development across the 2025-26 season, aided by the introduction of an U17 performance group to create a more sustainable pathway through to the senior teams.

Across previous cycles, the U19 side has provided a pathway for the likes of Jamie Brooker, Tom Uniatowicz and, most recently, Cook and Jed Devine, to make their senior international debuts.

The 2027 UEFA U19 Futsal EURO is the fifth edition of the competition. You can read more about it on the UEFA website.
